Kia A. Harris

Kia is an eclectic entrepreneur who has a love for God, people and cultures. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Dare Humanity, a nonprofit in Northern California that partners with communities in Haiti and California to create opportunities for self-sufficiency, entrepreneurship and wellness. Kia is also an artisan who enjoys writing, photography and creative collaboration. She is a speaker and considers herself to be an activator – activating individuals and organizations to think ahead, strategically and beyond what is seen. Kia is also a philanthropist who seeks to be a blessing to individuals and communities

She obtained a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco. Prior to graduate school, she earned a B.S. in Health Science and a minor in Spanish from Cal State Dominguez Hills. Harris has developed skills in a variety of areas such as health, research and nonprofit efforts.
