Ministry Not Closed

Ministry Not Closed

Cancelled – that’s the word I saw when I checked the flight status of the flights leading up to my flight for tonight.

My flight has been cancelled for my trip to Haiti. I would have been reunited with my husband after two and a half months of being apart, and I would have visited our communities in Haiti.

I have been assigned to serve the communities of Sonyen and Deluge through my organization, Dare Humanity. When I discovered that my flight was cancelled, I felt a sense of failure. I began to think of how I had made a promise to my communities, and now I had to inform them I would have to postpone my trip.

That feeling of failure was only temporary, because I realized, no, I was not a failure, I was just being redirected. There is a reason that I am not supposed to be in Haiti at this time. I was ready to spend a few months there because there would be uncertainty of when I would be able to return, in order to serve my communities. God saw my heart and He still sees it. I find peace in knowing that.

He sees your heart as well.

We have to be so zealous for the ministries God has given us, that we can fulfill God’s kingdom on this earth, and be His ambassadors, so we can share what He has done in our lives.

The revelation of why I was not supposed to be in Haiti will reveal itself soon. The revelation of why things are happening the way that they are in your life will reveal itself soon. Seek Him for your revelation and wisdom.

Know that God is with you and He has his hand on your ministry (God’s predestined work for you) and your life.

“Forget the former things;

    do not dwell on the past.

See, I am doing a new thing!

    Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

    and streams in the wasteland.” – Isaiah 43:18-19

Keep moving forward with what God has given you (and only you) to do.

“But those who hope in the LORD

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31

Tea is Always a Good Idea

Put your trust in the one true source and look forward to the future harvest.

“There is surely a future hope for you,

and your hope will not be cut off.” – Proverbs 23:18
