Throughout our lives, we transition from one stage to the next. It can include a new job, a new endeavor, a new role, new responsibilities, new people, new regions… When the transition takes place, God is going to need more from us. He is going to need more of you.

I remember when I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2017 for grad school, I didn’t have any family or friends and I had to leave my place of comfort in Southern California. It wasn’t too hard for me because I always wanted to move, but there were some days that I felt alone. It was then that I started to seek God more. It was as if God moved me so that I could grow closer to Him. 

I became even more curious about who God really is, His power, the power that He puts within us and the supernatural realm. I was even led to my church in Northern California, where I have seen God moves in ways like I have never seen before. 

Will you leave space for God to move? Or are you “too busy” creating a space for yourself? 

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV): You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

And that’s just what happened. All the things I sought, I began to find. I received revelation about who God is – although we can spend a lifetime discovering all that He is. I began to feel His love in a different way and His desires for me. I experience His power on various occasions. I can feel the atmosphere change in my church, and even in my room. I’ve taken authority over what the enemy thought he had control over (and it’s a daily process *). I have had prophetic dreams that have been so divinely orchestrated that I have no doubt in my mind that were directly from God (and I prayed for them!). 

Today I want to challenge you to seek God like you have never sought Him before. Not because you want something from Him, but because you want a relationship with Him. It is then that we discover His purpose for us, His love for us and the destiny He is calling us to.
